The International Journal of Environmental Sustainability and Green Technologies (IJESGT) provides managers, academicians, scientists, and researchers in various government, public, and private sectors an in-depth look into new techniques, strategies, and technologies for achieving environmental sustainability through best business and technology practices. The journal covers topical issues including sustainable strategy and innovation, advanced technologies related to the 4th Industry Revolution, green digitalization, sustainable asset management (ILS, operation and maintenance, reliability, life cycle etc.), energy and defense efficient systems, green and sustainable transformation, as well as other topics like product usability, reverse and closed loop supply chain, environmental issues (carbon footprints, global warming, recycling and reuse systems, applied ergonomics, climate change), and all those topics related to logic, philosophy and history of science and technology from the green/sustainable point of view. Mission and Scope

The mission of the International Journal of Environmental Sustainability and Green Technologies (IJESGT) is to serve as an interdisciplinary source of sustainable knowledge for researchers and practitioners in fields including environmental science, environmental engineering, information technology, and business. The goal of the journal is to provide academicians, research scholars, business entrepreneurs, practitioners, managers, and policymakers coverage of strategic issues and best practices for achieving environmental sustainability while promoting competitive advantage and cost savings in modern organizations and business sectors. The journal highlights the critical steps needed for sustainable industry, defense, and energy systems digitalization and transformation to the new advanced and disruptive technologies, which help organizations and businesses reach their environmental goals.

Editor(s)-in-Chief Biography

Ulas Akkucuk is an Associate Professor of Quantitative Methods at Bogazici University Department of Management, Istanbul, Turkey. Dr. Akkucuk has a BS in Industrial Engineering from Bilkent University (1997), an MBA from Bogazici University (2000), and a PhD in Management Science and Information Systems from Rutgers University (2004). His research interests focus on the methodological development of multivariate techniques such as Clustering and Multidimensional Scaling and novel applications into fields, such as global competitiveness, CRM, technology management, and sustainable development. He has taught Statistics, CRM and Data Mining, and Global Aspects of Management courses, among others, at both graduate and undergraduate levels. He is associate editor and editorial board member of International Journal of Research in Business and Social Science (IJRBS) and has been an ad hoc reviewer for journals such as Journal of Multivariate Analysis, Bogazici Journal, International Journal of Business Economics and Management and Journal of Computational and Graphical Statistics. He is also the assistant editor for Journal of Global Business Insights responsible for IT and E-Business area. He has edited 7 books for IGI Global two of which have been indexed by Web of Science and others by SCOPUS. The last edited volume recently completed is entitled Handbook of Research on Creating Sustainable Value in the Global Economy and will be published in 2020. He is a member of the Classification Society, Society for the Study of Business and Finance and Turkish National Committee on Solid Waste.

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit their original empirical research articles 3,000-8,000 words in length. Interested authors must consult the journal's guidelines for manuscript submissions at http://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/ prior to submission. All submitted articles will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis by no fewer than 3 members of the journalís Editorial Review Board and 1 Associate Editor. Final decision regarding acceptance/revision/rejection will be based on the reviews received from the reviewers and at the sole discretion of the Editor-in-Chief.
