Mission and Scope

This International Journal of R&D Innovation Strategy (IJRDIS) provides a research platform for issues on R&D innovation strategy, science, and technology policy, and technology management. This journal discusses and presents R&D strategy, R&D policy, R&D management with peer-reviewed contributions of a high quality. It seeks to present original contributions that add to the understanding of the related academic research and the case study for R&D innovation strategy, science, and technology policy, technology management, etc. It examines the role of regulation and policy in the R&D sector and encourages interdisciplinary research. Contributions are encouraged which extend the scope of activity from R&D strategy, R&D policy, R&D management to sustainable development in R&D innovation strategy.

Editor(s)-in-Chief Biography

Donghun Yoon is currently a Senior Researcher and Team Leader in the Seoul Center, Korea Basic Science Institute. His research areas of interest include management information system, logistics, supply chain management, network system, RFID, basic science, research equipment, national large research facilities, science and technology policy, information and communications technologies, R&D strategy, IC-Card and technology diffusion theory. The major field of study is technology diffusion model theory and science and technology policy. He received his PhD from Graduate School of Media and Governance, Keio University of Japan. He worked for Samsung and the Keio Research Institute at SFC, Keio University of Japan before joining Korea Basic Science Institute. He is an Editor-in-chief of International Journal of R&D Innovation Strategy and an International Editorial Review Board of international academic journals, International Journal of Asian Business and Information Management and Polish Journal of Management Studies.

Submission

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit their original empirical research articles 5,000–7,000 words in length. Interested authors must consult the journal’s guidelines for manuscript submissions at https://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/ prior to submission. All submitted articles will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis by no fewer than 3 members of the journal’s Editorial Review Board and 1 Associate Editor. Final decision regarding acceptance/revision/rejection will be based on the reviews received from the reviewers and at the sole discretion of the Editor-in-Chief.
