Mission and Scope

The mission of the International Journal of Natural Computing Research (IJNCR) is to serve as a world-leading forum for the publication of scientific and technological papers involving all main areas of natural computing, namely, nature-inspired computing, methods to computationally synthesize natural phenomena, and novel computing paradigms based on natural materials. This journal publishes original material, theoretical and experimental applications, and review papers on the process of extracting ideas from nature to develop computational systems or materials to perform computation.

Nilanjan Dey, PhD., is an Asst. Professor in the Department of Information Technology in Techno India College of Technology, Rajarhat, Kolkata, India. He holds an honorary position of Visiting Scientist at Global Biomedical Technologies Inc., CA, USA and Research Scientist of Laboratory of Applied Mathematical Modeling in Human Physiology, Territorial Organization Of- Sgientifig And Engineering Unions, BULGARIA. He is the Managing Editor of International Journal of Image Mining (IJIM), Inderscience, Regional Editor-Asia of International Journal of Intelligent Engineering Informatics (IJIEI), Inderscience and Associated Editor of International Journal of Service Science, Management, Engineering, and Technology, IGI Global. His research interests include: Medical Imaging, Soft computing, Data mining, Machine learning, Rough set, Mathematical Modeling and Computer Simulation, Modeling of Biomedical Systems, Robotics and Systems, Information Hiding, Security, Computer Aided Diagnosis, Atherosclerosis. He has 8 books and 150 international conferences and journal papers. He is a life member of IE, UACEE, ISOC etc.
Vikrant Bhateja is Associate Professor, ECE, Shri Ramswaroop Memorial Group of Professional Colleges (SRMGPC), Lucknow, India. Presently, he is also the Head (Academics & Quality Control) in the same college. He is doctorate in Bio-Medical Imaging & Signal Processing and has a total academic teaching experience of 14 years with more than 120 publications in reputed international conferences, journals and online book chapter contributions. He has published 10 books with Springer (AISC, LNEE, LNNS & SIST Series) and few more are under press. Dr. Vikrant has been instrumental in organizing more than 15 Springer/IEEE conferences as Publication and Technical Program Committee Chair. His area of research include: Image and Vision Computing, Intelligent Signal Processing, Medical Imaging, Soft and Bio-inspired Computing. He is associate editor in International Journals of Rough Sets and Data Analysis (IJRSDA), Synthetic Emotions (IJSE), Ambient Computing and Intelligence (IJACI) under IGI Global Publications. He is in editorial board ofInternational Journal of Image Mining (IJIM)) and International Journal of Convergence Computing under Inderscience Publishers. He has guest edited special issues with Springer: Arabian Journal of Science & Engineering (AJSE).
