This article describes how knowledge is one of the most important assets in organizations which should be carefully managed and is continuously generated throughout an organization. Knowledge sharing is a process through which, one person is affected by the experiences of another. This involves more than simply acquiring or transmitting knowledge from one party to another, but is a process of exchanging and processing knowledge in a way that knowledge of one person can be integrated and used in by another person. Plenty of studies on knowledge sharing have been examined by numerous companies. However, not many empirical studies have been conducted in accordance with the framed model of ICT as a determinant and sharing of knowledge through social media within IT companies. This empirical study is aimed at identifying the critical ICT factors for enriching the knowledge sharing among employees through social media in IT organizations. The expected outcome of this study will be analyzing and establishing the causal relationships between the ICT influencing factors and knowledge sharing through social media.

This article describes how logging is an important mechanism that is being used in almost all kinds of devices. It is used for tracking events during the running of a software. In this case, programs are developed by the software developers in such a way that whenever an event happens it can be recorded. Among its many uses, system troubleshooting is of greatest importance. Manual methods of logging can be adopted when dealing with a smaller process but mostly log sizes can go from kilobytes to terabytes in size for which log analyzing tools are required. In addition to that, those tools should be capable of extracting all the relevant information so that it becomes easy to highlight the ongoing issues in an effective manner. In a community setting, Utilitarian Knowledge or “Knowledge that works” are routinely diffused through social media interactions. The aggregation of this knowledge is a divergent process, where common knowledge gets segregated into several local worlds of utilitarian knowledge. To capture and represent this knowledge, several data models have been proposed. One of the model organizes concepts (atomic elements) in a hierarchy namely concept hierarchy (“is-a”) in which concepts are added manually at the most appropriate level inside the hierarchy. To minimize manual intervention in entity resolution, this article proposes entity resolution based on co-occurrence graph and continuous learning, thereby eliminating the bottleneck of manual concept entry. While traditional Supervised Learning methods require sufficient training data beforehand which is not available in a community setting at start, Continuous Learning method could be useful which can acquire new behaviours and can evolve as the community data evolves.
