Ailwei Solomon Mawela

Ailwei Solomon Mawela is an Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer in the Department of Curriculum and Instructional Studies at the University of South Africa (UNISA). He graduated from the University of South Africa with a Doctor of Education in Didactics. He obtained a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) programme Online Teaching and Learning(OTL) from the University of Oldenburg in Germany in 2020. In 2019 UNISA awarded him with an Excellent Certificate in Student Retention and Success. Environmental Education, Assessment in Education, Open Distance e-Learning, Open Education Resources, and Curriculum Studies are some of his research interests. Supervised Masters and Doctoral students in the above niche areas. Published and co-published several articles and book chapters in accredited journals. Prof, Mawela reviewed articles and book chapters in different accredited journals.
