Description & Coverage
Description:

The post-pandemic era has created extensive disruptions in many areas of business and society that are easily verified. Such disruptions have certainly extended to the human resources management function that was already experiencing labor shortages and other challenges in the USA and elsewhere before 2020. This publication examines the disruptions in-depth and their influences as they relate to the current hiring, effective retention, engagement, and productivity of available talent in an era of growing global skills gaps, and a rapidly aging world population within the context of a multigenerational workforce.

The purpose of this publication is to provide a holistic perspective of how the global landscape has changed with regards to effective human resources management in the post-pandemic world, and the resulting effect on employee engagement and productivity within a multigenerational workforce. Covering topics such as human productivity, change management, and employee and managerial skill development, this book is a valuable resource for scholar-practitioners who require a contemporary resource for their work in the human resource management sphere, as well as graduate students who seek the same holistic resource.
