The International Journal of Teacher Education and Professional Development (IJTEPD) invites quantitative and qualitative research and interdisciplinary studies in education, especially in teacher preparation, to include areas of assessment, technology, diversity, and cultural competency. By establishing an academic open discourse on this growing and vital profession, this journal provides a venue for educators, education professionals, and researchers to share emerging topics, issues, findings, and results concerning education and teacher preparation. Articles, reviews, and research projects included in the journal provide insights to the understanding of teaching and learning, and add new knowledge to enrich continued discussion on teaching as a profession.

The Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Teacher Education and Professional Development (IJTEPD) invites authors to submit manuscripts for consideration in this peer reviewed and referred scholarly journal. The following describes the mission, coverage and guidelines for submission to IJTEPD.

Mission

The International Journal of Teacher Education and Professional Development (IJTEPD) publishes quality articles to include but not limited to controversial topics, current and contemporary issues in education and teacher preparation, and both quantitative and qualitative research inquiries and findings. By providing an academic and open discourse on teaching as a profession past, today, and the future, the journal provides a venue for educators, education professionals, and researchers to share, debate, empower, and learn together.

IJTEPD is interested in articles and research highlighting various teacher education and professional development areas. Topics to be discussed in this journal include (but are not limited to) the following:

Submission

Authors are invited to submit their original manuscripts 6,000-10,000 words in length. Interested authors will consult the Journal’s guidelines for manuscript submissions at [the URL] prior to submission. All submitted articles will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis by 3 peer reviewer experts in the field. Authors will be notified about the review results in 3 months following a successful submission.
