Abstract

The study focused on analysing the quality of lighting in the workplaces of Mantransve, which is preparing to implement a project to test domestic energy efficiency. A descriptive study was used to collect information, and a subtractive method was used to develop the subject and variables. In addition, the first analysis of the company is done with a SWOT matrix in the specific areas of the company. Subsequently, 54 employees between technical and managerial positions were interviewed. Technical data of lamps in lumens taken before and after give the possibility of improvement of lighting energy efficiency after comparison with DIALUX. In the results, the hypothesis comparison shows that there is a significant improvement and energy savings in the medium term in the lighting of the rooms analysed according to the UNE 12464.1 standard for indoor lighting. Finally, it is recommended to completely change the lighting to commercial lighting levels.

Introduction

In Ecuador, public and private organizations do not measure the situation or what includes energy and energy savings; this requires a total electricity and health system to prevent incidents that cause electricity prices, especially when they threaten people's lives (Ayenew et al., 2020). As a result, in the past, there were improvements in household appliances, such as the use of energy-efficient appliances, but there were no studies on the application of management principles in community areas or the power of potential optimization (Pandey et al., 2022).

In recent years, about the increase in electricity demand, attention has been directed to the use of energy .Therefore, to establish good stability in the proper functioning of society, it is essential to use less energy to produce the same goods (José & Flores, 2015).

“The country's electricity sector, affected by other changes, such as the political one, needs to change actions to strengthen its perspective on this matter with the commitment of all people” (George, 2021).

In MANTRANSVE, if there is a misuse of energy when repairing electrical systems, it is essential to review their installation and the operation of electrical equipment since it is possible that electricity does not work, which makes the cost more expensive (Ulloa, 2015). Failure events, such as equipment overheating, power outages, overloads, short circuits, etc.; Therefore, the development to be implemented of ISO 50001: 2018 deals with the energy efficiency program for the organization (Del Pozo, 2019).

The importance of the study is based on studies that attribute electrical energy as an essential indicator of the development of society, and it can be seen in all market sectors that require energy to carry out their activities, representing part of sectors of the country. That competition is increasing. [14]. “In developed countries, energy use issues play an important role in politics Leyva (2017). The most important benefit lies in the relationship between the commercial and industrial sectors and the electricity supply” (Abad, 2019).

“It is important that the motor of the public and private sector assume the leadership in monitoring and data collection about the energy efficiency of their facilities and equipment” (Alarcón, 2017). This system is essential to reduce energy demand worldwide and save resources for all buildings. Although some do not have high costs, more is needed for the energy system (Sharma et al., 2022).

The improvement of the energy performance management program allows you to obtain benefits within the business, such as high consumption and reduction of energy, reducing the impact on the environment, which allows you to increase profits and obtain the presented results due to inaccuracy. Use. Energy, reducing equipment utility and storing it intelligently so you can make accurate measurements and provide suggestions for improvement (Ministerio, 2017).

MANTRANSVE needs to spend more on the equipment shown in the quality service in order to deliver them on time and cover costs (Mayorga, 2018). Evaluations of electrical systems and services are evaluated to create an energy management system, which will help the business owner and installers. The energy management process recommended by the ISO 50001 standards is being used, leading to the establishment of specific and achievable objectives and recommendations for various improvement programs in terms of safety and performance. As a result, the safety possibilities of the different production levels were evaluated (Soria, 2017).
