An advanced form of Delphi Method that uses computers and real time surveys that allow panelists to answer and immediately see the result of the group’s response. It allows the panelists to change their mind throughout the process and is not divided into rounds ( Gordon & Pease, 2006 ).

Abstract
The Delphi research method was specifically designed as a forecasting tool for the Rand Corporation in the 1950s. However, in the last several decades, Delphi research has been more frequently used for facilitating group communication for decision making and planning. Because of the Delphi Method's increased use, more information is needed for researchers to understand how to best utilize the method to precisely complete a Delphi study with rigor. This chapter explores the Delphi Method's origin, provides an explanation of the methodology, acknowledges the types and variations in Delphi studies, discusses the advantages and limitations, and provides clear, step-by-step guidelines for employing a successful research study.

Assessment of Chronic Health Care through an Internet Consensus Tool
An innovative way to define and manage Delphi studies that may lead to a higher degree of efficiency in terms of amount of people that may be involved and the time frame needed to perform the studies. In a Real-Time Delphi participants are allowed to modify their opinions or votes as often as they like when they see the aggregated results of other participants. Real-Time Delphi systems requires calculation in real-time.
