What is Kullback-Leibler Distance

Encyclopedia of Information Science and Technology, Third Edition
An information-theoretic measure (also known as relative entropy) used to analytically define the distance between two arbitrary probability distributions. It should be noticed that while the Kullback-Leibler distance is not symmetrical, it is still an additive quantity.
