With the advancement of wireless technologies, the wireless communication, sensing, scanning systems have gained more attentions for different applications related to communication, medical care (monitoring and imaging), smart IoT system, sensing and so on. The reconfigurability feature of the RF Frontend systems for Antenna and Radar has played an important role in this context. Recently, many new configuration and design architectures have been reported which is the main driving force for such a surge in RF Frontend innovation.

This book will offer researchers the opportunity to expand their theoretical and practical knowledge to disseminate the latest wireless systems in practice. The tentative contents of this publication have been divided into four sections: the RF Frontend Antenna System for wireless applications, Radar and Antenna Systems design and modeling, Impact of AI/ML in Frontend System Design and Applications, and Test and Measurement for Frontend system designs.


The main objective of this book is to promote recent advancements in RF Frontend Antenna and Radar System designs for different applications such as sensing, wireless communication, microwave imaging, etc.

Submission Procedure

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before November 30, 2023, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be notified by December 6, 2023 about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines.Full chapters are expected to be submitted by December 20, 2023, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.

Note: There are no submission or acceptance fees for manuscripts submitted to this book publication, Radar and RF Front End System Designs for Wireless Systems. All manuscripts are accepted based on a double-blind peer review editorial process.
