Introduction

This publication will focus on the use of innovative technologies in education, with a special emphasis on Artificial Intelligence. The aim is to provide chapters on the practical application of AI and technologies that benefit from it in educational contexts, with a special focus on changing practices and assessing students. Artificial Intelligence is an emerging theme on which there is a lot of expectation and still relatively few academic publications, so this publication aims to help broaden the debate on the subject and help to systematise thinking.

Objective

This book will aim to provide relevant theoretical frameworks and the latest empirical research findings in the area. It will be written for professionals (researchers, professors, and teachers) who want to improve their understanding of the AI in Education. "Improving Student Assessment With Emerging AI Tools" seeks to advance current research by offering a comprehensive exploration of the intersection between AI and student assessment, addressing pedagogical, ethical, and practical considerations, and providing insights into the future of AI in educational assessment practices.

Submission Procedure

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before April 28, 2024, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be notified by May 12, 2024 about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines.Full chapters are expected to be submitted by July 21, 2024, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at https://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/ prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.

Note: There are no submission or acceptance fees for manuscripts submitted to this book publication, Improving Student Assessment With Emerging AI Tools. All manuscripts are accepted based on a double-blind peer review editorial process.
