Introduction

The labor market is evolving because of today's technological opportunities. In adapting the business to these new opportunities, priorities such as the importance of maintaining sustainable practices, the opportunity access to thousands of data, and the need for further digitalization of processes are also important challenges. Relevant aspects to discuss are how companies develop resilience to the global economy, how they deal with the implementation of new technological opportunities, how they adapt to the goals of the sustainable economy, how they design more creative ways of working that are also more satisfying for employees, as well as empathizing with global social movements.

Objective

This book aims to provide robust theoretical frameworks and business practices on how companies adapt to global economic challenges and seek creative solutions to ways of working. New techniques, methodologies, and innovative business practices will be the subject of analysis.

Target Audience

The book is aimed at practitioners and academics who want to deepen and broaden their knowledge in new business techniques, methodologies, and practices considering current economic challenges especially in the themes of corporate sustainability, workplace, employee wellbeing, technology, and the new global social movement. In addition, the book provides ideas and support for companies and employees concerned with new sustainable practices, cybersecurity, and organizational development in different work environments.

Submission Procedure

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before April 28, 2024, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be notified by May 12, 2024 about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines.Full chapters are expected to be submitted by June 12, 2024, and all interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at https://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/ prior to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.

Note: There are no submission or acceptance fees for manuscripts submitted to this book publication, Global Economic Challenges and Opportunities for the Workplace. All manuscripts are accepted based on a double-blind peer review editorial process.
