Bill Karakostas

Dr. Bill Karakostas, is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Informatics at the City University, London. Dr. Karakostas, holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Engineering from the University of Patras, Greece, an MPhil and a PhD in Software Engineering from the Department of Computation at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), England. He has a sixteen plus years research track record in areas such as business engineering (process redesign, simulation, workflow management, ERP systems), and software engineering (requirements management, service and component-oriented development). He has been leading European Union funded research projects for over 15 years, and he has researched extensively in the areas of software engineering, IS modeling and e-commerce technologies. He has published in excess of 100 research papers and is the co-author of a book on Systems Requirements Engineering. Dr. Karakostas has acted as scientific advisor to several software houses in Greece and the UK. Dr Karakostas is a member of ACM.
