Abstract
Sustainability is an important issue to be addressed by the accreditation agencies in order to ensure quality education at the degree programs offered by universities. Their joint effort needs to be focused to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals and to achieve a common sustainable future for current and future generations. This chapter contributes to the knowledge and understanding of university education systems in terms of sustainability issues including in curriculum. It also facilitates further development of theory and practice of higher education institutions and accreditation agencies to ensure modern and quality education. The chapter highlights the importance of sustainability issues to be included in the university degree programs and courses.
