Access Leading Research Through IGI Global’s New InfoSci-OnDemand Plus

Hershey, PA—Thursday, August 9, 2018 —IGI Global, an international academic publishing company, recently released a new subscription-based offering titled InfoSci-OnDemand Plus, which provides researchers with access to search across 100,000+ research-focused chapters and nearly 25,000 scholarly journal articles, all sourced from IGI Global’s peer-reviewed reference books and scholarly journals.

“We created InfoSci-OnDemand Plus to ensure that researchers are able to affordably and easily access some of the most emerging research,” explained Dr. Mehdi Khosrow-Pour, founder and CEO of IGI Global. “Since 1988, IGI Global has striven to enhance the body of knowledge and accelerate the pace of discovery. With the option to choose from six subscription models, subscribers can access 10-100+ full-text articles and chapters per year and permanently add them to their personal online InfoSci-OnDemand Plus library. Once the full text is accessed, the subscriber will have complete search functionality (both basic and advanced) to search across their personal library at their leisure.

Powered by the world-renowned InfoSci platform, book chapters and journal articles are available in full-text PDF and XML format with virtually no DRM, allowing users to copy, paste, and print directly from the content. Additionally, subscribers will have access to key features, including a multilingual user interface; an advanced, fast, full-text search engine with ranked results; and access to formatted citations with the ability to export to RefWorks and EasyBib.

“Through this offering subscribers are able to save upwards of US$ 3,250 on valuable research in 11 core subjects which encompass business, computer science, education, engineering, environment and agriculture, government and law, library and information science, media and communications, medicine and healthcare, security and forensics, and the social sciences and humanities,” stated Lindsay Wertman, Managing Director. “With the added benefit of full-text with no DRM, the research accessed through InfoSci-OnDemand Plus can be seamlessly integrated into course syllabi, personal research studies, or into professional development programs."
