Along with this list of resources, IGI Global collaborating with ORCID, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to sharing information globally through enabling a transparent and trustworthy connection between researchers, their contributions, and affiliations, to collect ORCID iDs for our editors and authors to help increase the discoverability and creditability of their work.

Be sure to give permission for IGI Global to connect with your ORCID iD, as it enables us to collect your ORCID iD in a machine-readable format and connect it to information about your research activities stored in our eEditorial Discovery® manuscript management system. Additionally, we will be able to share your affiliation with IGI Global to your ORCID record making it more creditable and showcasing that you are a valuable contributor.

Through this transformative initiative, IGI Global matches the library’s investment with a fund of equal value to go towards subsidizing the OA article processing charges (APCs) for their faculty patrons at that institution when their work is accepted under OA into an IGI Global journal.**
