Dr. Mahmoud Eid to Present at the Asian Congress for Media & Communication Conference

Exchanging Terrorism Oxygen for Media Airwaves: The Age of Terroredia IGI Global Editor Dr. Mahmoud Eid has been invited to present at the Asian Congress for Media & Communication (ACMC-UMY) Conference, to be held in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, from October 27th-29th, 2016. This conference will revolve around the theme "The Changing Power Structures of Communication: Shifting Notions of Authority and Influence."

Dr. Eid is Editor of the 2014 IGI Global publication Exchanging Terrorism Oxygen for Media Airwaves: The Age of Terroredia, a premier reference source that provides a timely and thorough discussion on a wide range of issues surrounding terrorism in relation to both traditional and new media. The title of Dr. Eid's presentation is "Terroredia: New Media’s Impact on Terrorism and Counterterrorism." His presentation will be held on the opening day of the event, October 27th.
