The manuscripts that pass the Web of Science evaluation process have proven their worth to the academic community.

Indices such as Web of Science evaluate potential titles on the quality of their content, the diversity of authorship, and the content’s usage and impact. IGI Global’s Open Access (OA) publishing provides authors with more sharing capabilities to increase the discoverability of the content, better promote its citation rate, and increase its chances of being indexed. Current chapters and past chapters can still have a CC BY license applied and be changed to the Open Access model.
IGI Global offers authors the ability to convert their work to Open Access at a discounted rate through our Retrospective Open Access Program. Unlock your previously published work to Open Access (OA) and you can share your work freely. Authors who previously published their work under the traditional publishing model (standard access) would have signed an Author’s Warranty and Transfer of Copyright Agreement that transferred the copyright of their work to the publisher. When a journal article, book chapter, or full book publication is converted to open access, the copyright returns to the authors of the manuscript under the CC BY 4.0 license, allowing the copyright of the work to remain solely with the authors and opens greater sharing capabilities for authors who wish to maximize the visibility of their published work.
Previously published journal articles, book chapters, and even full book publications can be converted to OA at a discounted rate. For more information about Retrospective OA and how to start the process, you can view the following articles, “Convert Your Past Work to Open Access with the Click of a Button” or “Increase Citation Impact for Previously Published Research Work”, or contact openaccessadmin@igi-global.com.
