This model allows the author the option to publish their paper as open access or as a standard submission through the eEditorial DiscoveryTM online submission system. Once the peer-review process is completed, and the manuscript is accepted, authors who chose open access pay an article processing fee to make their article openly available. Once published as open access, the copyright remains solely with the author of the paper.
