Save the Date - Free Webinar: “How Your Library Can Provide You Open Access Funding Through IGI Global’s OA Fee Waiver (Read & Publish) Initiative”
Researchers are continually struggling to secure funding for their open access (OA) publishing endeavors. Many institutions have funding for various library resources, particularly for e-Collections and digital resources, but do not have a specially allocated OA publishing fund set aside for faculty, researchers, and students at their institutions. In order to accommodate these needs and ultimately provide institutional libraries’ a greater return on their investment in their e-Collection acquisitions, IGI Global launched an OA Fee Waiver (Read & Publish) Initiative, which delivers the dual benefit of acquiring and accessing high-quality research content while also providing faculty, students, and researchers at the institution with full OA funding.
To ensure that all IGI Global authors and editors are able to take advantage of this initiative, IGI Global is hosting a free webinar:
During this webinar, attendees will hear from IGI Global’s senior-level staff, Mr. Nick Newcomer, Senior Director of Marketing and Sales, and Ms. Brittany Haynes, Sales and Marketing Coordinator, who will be discussing the many aspects and benefits of the initiative. Attendees will also learn how to:
- Receive 100% coverage of open access APCs/CPCs/BPCs
- Benefit from complimentary access to IGI Global’s e-Book and e-Journal Collections
- Obtain funding to convert an IGI Global journal to diamond/platinum open access
- Fund your next gold open access book project
- And more!
