The Society of Colleagues of Dr. Richard H. Wexler launches exciting new website

By IGI Global on Jun 16, 2015
Strategic Data-Based Wisdom in the Big Data Era IGI Global author Suzanne Roff-Wexler of Compass Point Consulting, LLC, USA, recently announced the launch of the website www.Psychology21c.org, established by the Society of Colleagues of Dr. Richard H. Wexler "to inspire a new generation of psychologists to advance the field of psychology by promoting its relevance and ability to address 21st century challenges—transforming psychologists from passive observers to active contributors; and also to improve the human-technological-scientific interaction which can impact the future of humanity through relevant psychological research and its application to real world issues. We aspire to be the conduit for brilliant game changers and practitioners seeking to improve the world through collaboration, research, and hands-on applications."

Suzanne Roff-Wexler hosts several blogs on the site. "The Psychology of New Technologies and the Evolving Self" explores the concept of Self and its relationship to virtual worlds, a spin-off of her 2013 article "The Evolution and Development of Self in Virtual Worlds" from the International Journal of Cyber Behavior, Psychology and Learning (IJCBPL).

Another, "Big Data and Psychology - Future Partners in the Making" discusses research from her chapter "On the Road to Ephesus: Data-Based Wisdom and Healthcare" from the title Strategic Data-Based Wisdom in the Big Data Era.

The site's Mission is to partner with and connect organizations, students, researchers, early career psychologists and professionals who will support progress in the emerging 21st century realms:
  • Innovation
  • Work-Life Competencies
  • Leadership
  • Big Data
  • New Technologies
  • Investing
  • Consciousness
“We believe that small organizations have the flexibility to address critical 21st century issues. We believe in the butterfly effect that even a small change can result in a large impact.”
